Ernest 'Bud' Edwards

Ernest "Bud" Edwards, Jr. 88, of Carmel, IN, passed away on March 13, 2014. Bud was an Insurance Agent for Edwards Smith & Prather. He was a Navy veteran of WW II and the Korean War. He was a member of Mohawk Hills Mens Club were he was a three time Club Champion. He was also a member of St. Mark's and Brookshire Village Bridge Clubs. He was a 1943 graduate of Shortridge High School and had attended Butler University. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Edwards. He is survived by sons; Larry (Sandy), Jeff (Julie), Steven (Celeste) and Daniel (Angie) Edwards; sister, Peg Sheriff; grandchildren: Stephanie (Brian) Bloom, Angela, Brooke, Mitch, Quinn, Tess, Max, and Nate; great-grandchildren: Amanda and Aiden Bloom. Services will be Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 1 PM with calling from 11 a.m. until service time at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel. Memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House or Hoosier Burn Camp.
