Erman Hall, Jr., passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at St. Vincent’s Hospital with loved ones by his side.

Erman was born in Crothersville, Indiana, on February 7, 1935. He is survived by his longtime companion, Dena Townsend, and his beloved cat, Boots, who could always bring a smile to Erman’s face. He is also survived by a brother, Jerry (JoAnn); three nieces and 3 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erman and Edith Hall, and his sister, Bonnie Ness,

Erman served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Loeser D.E. 680.

Erman was employed by Union Carbide in Kokomo, Indiana, Winona Memorial Hospital, and Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Erman enjoyed his Allis – Chalmers antique tractor on tractor drives, taking it to the State Fair and crossing the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan with his good friend, Dick Kruse.

Erman had a kind heart and will be missed by many. Rest in peace.
