Erma V. Gladden

Erma V. Gladden 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away August 3, 2022. She was born October 1, 1929, in Lebanon, Indiana to the late Forst and Lucy Olive (Kincaid) Meenach. Erma married Ralph E. Gladden on April 1, 1950, and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2010. She was a member of Valley Mills Christian Church, she loved and was a faithful reader of her Bible, enjoyed cooking, was famous with her family for her “Iced Tea” and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was especially proud of the fact she had 3 sets of five generations in her family. Erma was loved by many and will be missed by many. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Merle) Van Volkenburgh, Douglas (Donna) Gladden, Dennis (Rhea) Gladden, 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 3:00-6:00pm and Monday, August 8, 2022 ,10:00-11:00am at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the service Monday August 8, 2022, at 11:00am in the funeral home.
