Erma Jean Stanley passed away on 08/26/2023.
She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on 07/23/1931 to William and Henrietta Pinkston.
She was a retired Indianapolis Police Department police officer.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Schierbaum. She is survived by her husband, Harold Richard Stanley, two sons, Brian (Connie) Stanley, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jeffrey (David Steen) Stanley of Little River, South Carolina, grandchildren, Natalie (Matt) Flowers, Greenfield, Indiana, Samantha (Brian) Lebowitz, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Wyatt Stanley, Beech Grove, Indiana, great-grandchildren, Zoey Flowers and Gavin Flowers, and great-granddaughter, Nora Jo Lebowitz due in November 2023.
A graveside service will be at Washington Park East Cemetery, Friday September 1st, at 3pm, with close family and friends.
