Erin Kirsten Ferguson

Erin Kirsten Ferguson, 44, of Zionsville entered into eternal peace with the Lord on December 12, 2017.

Erin graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor’s degree and received her Master’s degree in Education from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. She was a National Board Certified teacher and primarily taught Middle School Science receiving numerous awards in teaching. She was very proud of being baptized in the ocean in Vero Beach, Florida on Easter 2017.  Her passions included the outdoors and spending time with her children.

She is survived by her children Caleb, Joshua, Julia and Ian Riddle; parents Philip C. Ferguson (Marilee) and Susan K. Long (Robert “Terry”); brothers Scott Ferguson (Stephanie) and Shawn Ferguson (Brad); half siblings Micah, Mariah and Asher Ferguson; step- brother Dan Yohe; step-sisters Robin Reading and Christina Long; ex-husbands Kevin McCarty and Wayne Riddle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Private services are being held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for an educational fund being established for the Riddle children (please make checks payable to Scott Ferguson).
