Erin Emily Carr, 43, passed away on July 1 after a nearly ten year battle against Primary Pulmonary Hypertension. Erin was born in Indianapolis on November 25, 1977. She is survived by her father Jim Carr, her mother Susan Ely Carr, her stepmother Angela Carr, her beloved daughter Lillian Jane Adams, her ex-husband Jason Adams (Jasmin), her younger brothers Jimmy and Tim Carr, her grandmother Catherine Carr, her uncles Thom (Liz), Bill (Lisa) and Pat (Denise) Carr and Ralph (Christine) and Jim (Nika) Ely and many cousins. Erin was preceded in death by her grandparents William and Lillian Carr and J and Johanne Ely.

Erin was a proud graduate of Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School and Middlebury College. She went on to receive a Master of Arts at De Paul University. Erin was an outstanding improvisational and standup comedian. She performed for many years at Comedy Sportz and at many comedy venues in Chicago and throughout Central Indiana. Erin was employed at Crowe Accounting firm. Erin loved performing and creating but the overarching love in life was her daughter, Lilly.

The Carr family thanks Gwen Sunkel for her friendship and guidance, the Methodist Hospital ICU nursing staff and Dr. Ravachandran for his many years of expert care.

Guests can visit anytime on Friday July 09, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville  between the hours of 2-4 pm and a short memorial service will be held at 4 pm to celebrate the life of Erin.
