Erica Marie Daniel Kepner

Erica Marie Daniel Kepner, 26, of McCordsville, IN passed away August 31, 2011. Erica was born on June 4, 1985 in Midland, MI to David Robert and the late Diana Kedzie Daniel. Erica graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School in 2003, and from Indiana University with her undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and French in 2007. She was currently working as a diabetes research student at the Indiana School of Medicine at IUPUI in Indianapolis pursuing her Doctorate in Biochemistry. Erica had a beautiful smile that would light up a room. She had a zest for life, loved science, reading, gardening and cooking, and her life revolved around her work, her husband Sean, her adored puppy, Amélie, and her friends and family. Erica was preceded in death by her birth mother, Diana Kedzie Daniel, brother, Brett David Daniel, grandfathers, Robert L Daniel, Henry E Lescale, Laurent J Troxclair and Dr. Robert W Kedzie. Erica leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband, Sean Christopher Kepner, her parents, David Robert and Susan Troxclair Daniel, sister-in-law, Yun Young Lee, grandmothers, Dorothy M Daniel, Elaine A Troxclair Lescale, and Joanne B Kedzie and her in-laws John Callender Kepner and Cynthia Rachael Driscoll Frizsell, brothers-in law, Ryan J and Neal B Kepner and numerous aunts, uncles, relatives and many many friends and colleagues. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday September 8, 2011 at 3:30 PM at the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive Indianapolis, In 46228 with calling from 2 PM to the time of service.
