Indianapolis, Indiana – Erica Beth Cupp, 46, tragically passed far too soon on December 6, 2025. Her brightness, her love, and her devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Erica was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana by parents Jerry and Brenda Pero. She graduated from Franklin Central High School and attended Indiana University studying Criminal Justice. After two years she decided on a career in Cosmetology and graduated from Honors Beauty College. A few years later, while working as a hairstylist, Erica attended nursing school, earning an associates degree in nursing.
An outgoing and funny woman, Erica loved to dance and sing. Her sense of adventure and quirky nature kept her family always guessing at what new story would be sure to follow. When she wanted to relax though, she would stay at home and tend to her beautiful garden and the flowers within.
More than anything else, Erica was a devoted mother who loved her family. Her sense of humor, her love of her parents, and her devotion to her daughters were defining characteristics of Erica. Every client and friend knew how proud she was of her family.
Erica is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mattilyn Boggess.
Erica is survived by her mother and father, Brenda and Jerry Pero; children Jaxyn Elizabeth Holmes, Ryleigh Kay Workman, and Mattilyn Mae Workman; siblings Kristin Schuneman (Brandon), Dustin Pero (Monica), Lauren Leigh Cupp, and Elizabeth Creekmore; as well as nieces and nephews Andi Kay Schuneman and Charles Rad Schuneman.
