Elton R. Phillips

Elton R. Phillips age 85 of Fortville, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012. Elton was an Engineer Pattern Designer for International Harvester retiring in 1981. Elton was a member of the Indianapolis Scottish Rite, Murat Temple, Fortville Christian Church, past president of New Palestine Fire Department, he also had been past board member of New Palestine Town Board. Elton was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary, and sister Phyllis Kegeris. Elton is survived by his brother Wayne (Liz) Phillips, daughters Artis (Jeff) Kingston, and Arlene (Jim) Privett, grandchildren Tina (Todd) Hauk Catron, Jimmy (Nikki) Privett, Jessica (Shannon) Privett, great grandchildren Reagan Hauk, Gavin Privett, Evan Privett, Nicholas Catron, and step great grandchildren Kylie, Gage, Jacob Catron. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1 pm with visitation from 11 am till the time of the service at Flanner and Buchanan –Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Entombment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
