Greenfield, Indiana – Eloise Hendrick, 102, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024, after being comforted by her daughter Muriel. Eloise was born on September 25, 1921, in Oaklandon, Indiana. Eloise worked for over twenty-five years at the Paper Art Company as a quality control inspector retiring in 1975.  After retiring, Eloise enjoyed helping around the family farm, gardening, tending to her flowers, cooking and hosting family gatherings.  After selling the farm, Eloise and Johnie moved to Florida to enjoy retirement.  In 1998 they returned to Indiana  due to Johnie’s failing health. After Johnie’s passing, Eloise was able to share her remaining years making memories with daughter Muriel, Grandson Marc & Heather Huber and her beloved great-granddaughter Macy Huber.  Eloise cherished times when she could reminisce and share stories about her life with family and friends.

Eloise was a selfless woman and a caretaker her whole life.  Nothing brought her more joy than taking care of others and having large events with her entire family present.

The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to the staff on the TCU at Greenfield Healthcare Center and Gentiva hospice
