Elma Jean Kramer

Elma Jean Kramer (Jean), 101, of Bluffton, South Carolina, passed away July 24, 2026. Jean was born in Vincennes, Indiana on December 21, 1924, to parents, John Thomas Green and Dora D Richeson Green. She graduated from Central High in Evansville, Indiana. Jean married Robert (Bob) Sunderman in January of 1945 until his death in 1976. She married Dale Kramer in March of 1978 until his death in April 2002.

Jean worked as a photographer assistant and then as a Sears Employee until her retirement. Jean was a member of Indian Lake Country Club until her move to South Carolina in 2020.

Jean was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Sunderman, her second husband Dale Kramer and her granddaughter Allison Sunderman. Jean is survived by her son Michael (Kathy), Sunderman, her daughter Lisa Sunderman, her stepdaughter and stepson Lynn Taeger (Don) and William Kramer and many grand and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Friday, August 7th. Burial will be in Washington Park East cemetery, no graveside service has been planned.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Flanner & Buchanan on east Washington Street to help offset funeral costs.
