Ellyn Jane Pittsley

Ellyn Jane (Clark) Pittsley, 81 of Zionsville, IN, passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2018. She was born on April 8, 1937 to Elmer Valentine Clark and Evelyn Grace Clark in Oakland, CA. She grew up in Oakland, CA and graduated from San Francisco State College in 1959 in Elementary Education. She taught first grade in California and Oregon. She was an enthusiastic Indianapolis Colts and college football fan. She also loved the Olympics, figure skating and gymnastics.

Ellyn is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Jack Pittsley; sons, Jeffrey (Michele) and Steven (Michelle); sister, Elizabeth (Bob) Thomas; grandchildren, Austin, Rachel, Sam, Ben, Ally, and Grace Pittsley; step grandchildren, Val Kendrick and Phoebe Garrett; and niece, Laura Rummel and nephew, David Rummel.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 1PM-3PM at Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville, 105 W. Pine St., with the service immediately following. Interment will take place at Zionsville Cemetery at a later date.
