Ella "Jean" Roach, 84, was reunited with her husband Ralph on August 13, 2025.
Jean was born on November 29, 1940, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to parents David & Stella (Scarlett) Rolen. She graduated from Fulton High School in Knoxville and then went on to college before marrying the love of her life, Ralph Roach, on May 18, 1962, later being sealed for all time and eternity on April 15, 1969, in the Salt Lake City temple
Jean was a dedicated & exceptional mother, raising four children with care and compassion. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her whole world. Jean had a passion for reading, shopping and southern cooking. She was an amazing cook! She enjoyed her crime shows and old movies. In her younger years, she worked for various banks as a bank teller. She enjoyed her time at the bank. Jean was a quiet woman and unconditionally kind, loving and a loyal friend.
In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband Ralph and oldest son Mark Roach.
She is survived by her sister Ann (Butch) Smith; children Bryan (Marie) Roach, Kim (Brian) Pawlecki, Kevin (Christine) Roach and Guadalupe (Mark) Roach; grandchildren Cristina (Sam) Kruse, Bryan (Heather) Roach, Jonathan Pawlecki, Madeline (Isaac) Evans, Macey (Russell) Sexton, Jake Pawlecki, Caroline Roach, Garrett Roach, Caitlin Roach, and Jason Roach; and great-grandchildren Tanner Evans, Josie Evans, Cooper Evans, Wayne Sexton, Virginia Sexton, and Faye Sexton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park (9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) from 1 pm to 2 pm with services following at 2pm. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery following services.
