Ella Irene (Kwilinski) Phillips

Ella Irene (Kwilinski) Phillips, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Dec. 1, 2021.  She was born on Jan. 26, 1943 in Middlebury, IN to Adam and Florence (Nusbaum) Kwilinski, who both preceded her in death.  Ella married the love of her life, James Phillips on September 15, 1962 and they enjoyed 59 years of love and life together.

Ella and Jim enjoyed camping, fishing, going to the casinos and spending time with their friends, family, and grandchildren.  Ella liked to sew, watch almost any sport – especially the Colts and Pacers, crossword puzzles and word searches.  She was actively involved in her church, Christ the Savior Lutheran Church for many years.

Ella is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Curtis Phillips; daughter, Renee West (Mike); two grandchildren, Zachary and Melissa West; 3 brothers: Edward, Charles, and Robert Kwilinski; and several nieces, nephews and beloved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jane and Laura; and daughter-in-law, Sherri (Starks) Phillips.

Friends may call from 11am until 1pm, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church (10500 E. 126^th Street, Fishers, IN), where funeral services will immediately follow, beginning at 1pm.
