Elizabeth Mae Clark

Elizabeth Mae Clark 92 of Indianapolis passed away March 18, 2014. Mae was born May 16, 1921 in Shoals, IN to Thomas and Amy Walters. Mae worked as a nanny for the Stuhldreher Family, at Allison Transmission during WWII, and as an LPN for HAC. After retiring from HAC in 1980, she spent her time volunteering in nursing homes and as a tutor in schools. She was a Sunday School Teacher at Crestview Christian Church. Mae was a member of Castleview Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She is survived by her sons Don Harold (Sherry) Daubenspeck, Jon Richard Daubenspeck; Stepdaughters Sue (Craig) Thomson, Diana (Suzanne Rogers) Clark; grandchildren Diane E. Daubenspeck (Jeff) Brown, Richard E. Daubenspeck, Richard W. Daubenspeck, Patti M. (Daubenspeck) Creech, Jon C. (Ashley) Daubenspeck, Kevin J. Daubenspeck, Ty (Heather) Thomson, Colin (Heather) Thomson; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday March 21, 2014 from 4pm – 8pm and service 1:00 pm Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan, Carmel.
