Elizabeth Yontz Clark, born February 15, 1936, in Paris, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 9 a.m., at the age of 89.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry, her brother, Karl Yontz, and her grandchild, Zachary Clark.
She is survived by her three sons, Steven (Lisa), Scot (Patty), and Terry II; granddaughters Sarah, Maddie, and Elizabeth; grandsons David and Michael; great-grandchildren Jackie and Jinorra Johnson; and one Bichon, Canaan.
Liz was a proud 1958 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics, specializing in apparel merchandising.
Over the years, she was employed by Carmel Animal Hospital, Woodbrook Elementary in Carmel as a librarian, Indiana Mills, Sun Chemical, Strickland and Wright Inc., and, finally, retired from Dow Chemical with her husband, Terry, in 1993.
She will be remembered for her unwavering support for her children and grandchildren, vacations floating on an inflatable raft at Ten Mile Lake in Minnesota, a bridge player in college, her fun socks and sweaters from Talbots, her love of Mary Kay cosmetics, Bible study groups and social hours, her chocolate obsession, weekly hairstyles and gel manicures, her enthusiasm for reading novels, and her passion for life on her own terms.
Most of all, she will probably want to be remembered as Mrs. Terry G. Clark Sr., whom she loved more than life itself.
She was a Christian woman, and we know she will rest in peace and rise in glory.
Memorial services will be at 12 noon Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Trinity Park Church, 207 West Park Avenue, Greenfield. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
