Elizabeth “Betsy” Stacy,
31, passed on July 4, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri. Betsy was born on May 11, 1985 to Arlie Stacy, Jr. (Jessica) and Elayne Stacy-Nichols. She was a free spirit who loved music. She was able to pick up almost any instrument and play it, and was skilled at the violin, guitar, mandolin, and ukulele; and played the baritone in her High School marching band. She love being outdoors appreciating nature, going on hikes, camping and walking everywhere she went. She loved being in St. Louis and took advantage of the city’s many attractions including concerts, the science museum, and the botanical gardens. Betsy was a loving and giving person, and will be truly missed by family and friends.
Betsy is remembered lovingly by her parents, her husband Anthony “Tony” Kirk; her daughters, Lelia Ferguson of Noblesville, Indiana, and Emilie Kirk of St. Louis, Missouri; her siblings Anne Haney (Matt), and Benjamin Stacy; her aunts and uncles, Luann Overmyer, Paul Schmidt (Marsha), Emilie Schmidt, Todd Stacy (Pamela), Donna Midyette (Joseph), and John Stacy (Michelle); her grandparents, Arlie Sr. and Juanita Stacy; her nephew, Blake Haney; her step-sister, Brooklyn Pierce, and many other cousins, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her aunt, Karen Dragoo (Don).
Visitation will be held from 10 am to 12pm on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis 46229. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm. Please share memories and condolences with the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com
