Elisie Mae Mitchell was born February 22, 1955 on Rose Bud Island to Birtha Mae Robinson and Willie B. Robinson, stepfather Preston Silmon, grandparents Clece and Eunice Robinson, OD and Alberta Robinson all preceded her in death. Elisie Mae Mitchell departed from this life on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the age of 59. Elisie leaves behind her loving husband, William E. Mitchell; sisters Masseline (Johnny) Holmes, Barbara (Lawrence) Puckett and Mary Ann Robinson; brother James Robinson; sons Carlos Robinson, Charles Robinson, Odise (April) Clay, Billy Burroughs all of Indianapolis, Timothy Clay of Alabama, Deon Thomas of Hayti and Darrell Anderson (deceased) of Indianapolis; daughters Chantel Padgett, Angela Robinson, Keisha Burroughs all of Indianapolis and Tracy Jones of California; grandchildren Thomias Ingram, Jordynn Robinson, Devonte Anderson, Charles Robinson III, Dareece Robinson, Nautica Robinson, Ayshia Robinson, Montasi Clay, Averie Clay, Odise Clay III, Ethan Padgett, Decrystal Anderson, Delicia Thomas, Deon Thomas Jr. Deanna Thomas and a host of others. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, other relatives and cherished friends she loved dearly. A very special friend and sister Brenda King and cousin Robert Jones. Elisie was an exceptionally hard worker. She dedicated her life to providing for her family. Although retired at the time of her passing, Elisie worked in day care for many years. A fitting occupation for such a caring and loving person. Elisie will forever be loved and cherished by all those she touched.
