Eleanor Chapple

Eleanor M. Chapple, 95, Indianapolis, passed away August 8, 2011. She was born June 28, 1916, in Mitchell, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Chapple. She graduated from Mitchell High School and Indiana Business College. She worked in Governor Gates office and loved to debate on any level of politics. She was an active member of the XYZ Club and the Shepherd’s Group. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Bridge, singing in her church choir, and especially her active social life. She was greatly loved by the Van Dyke family and many friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2011, at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Avenue. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the donor’s favorite charity.
