Eleanor Bohn

Eleanor Mae Bohn 90, passed away Sunday February 9th at St. Vincent Hospital. Eleanor was born April 23, 1923 in Glendale, CA. She was the only daughter of James and Agnes Simmons. Eleanor is survived by her two children Stephen (Nicky) Bohn and Carol (Ned) Ryan; Four Grandchildren: Jake (Chelsie) Gass, Logan (Hannah) Gass, Connor Ryan, Kirsten Ryan and Three Great grandchildren: Maleeha, Madalynn, and Lilu She was preceded in death by her parents, her father and mother in-law, and her husband Raymond. She attended Herbert Hoover High School and went to a Secretarial College. She worked at several Banks throughout her career. She lived several years in Palmdale, CA where she was a member of First Christian Church of Antelope Valley. Eleanor was an accomplished Pianist and played the organ for every church she attended for years. She also was the organist for Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale, CA. Eleanor married Raymond Bohn at Glendale Christian Church on December 12th, 1945. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday February 15th at Advent Lutheran Church (11250 N Michigan Rd Zionsville, IN 46077).
