Eldora Callier

ELDORA (BYRD) CALLIER was born on November 30, 1927, in Juniper, Georgia to Jerry Byrd and Lila Mae (Robinson) Byrd, both of whom preceded her in death. She lost her mother at the age of five years old during childbirth, and her father due to injuries from an automobile accident.

Eldora’s journey led her to marriage. She and Chester A. Callier, Jr. united in 1954. There were eight children born to their union.

Eldora was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, and sons, Gregory and Calvin. Eldora leaves to cherish her memory her children, Gloria, Carl, Rogers, Don, Larry, and Sheila (Ronald D. Hunt, husband), along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews
