Eldon N. 'El' Jorgensen

Eldon”EL” N. Jorgensen, 82 of Indianapolis, passed on October 10, 2010.He was born September 26, 1928, in Galesburg, North Dakota, the son of Charlie and Elvina (Erickson) Jorgensen, both whom have preceded him in death. Also he was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Jorgensen. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a plant supervisor for the Indiana Gear Works and lastly as a Mechanical Engineering Technician for Naval Air Warfare Center (Naval Avionics), retiring in 1995. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Veona M. (Sailer)Jorgensen; children,Nancy (Gary)Hutchinson,Paula (William)Wilkins and Joan Jorgensen;his brother, Arden “Jack” (Ada) Jorgensen; grand-children, Aaron Wilkins, Melissa Green, Allison Hutchinson and Alexandra Hutchinson. Visitation will be Friday (10-15-10)from 4 to 8pm in Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center. Funeral services will be Saturday 10am (10-16-10)in the funeral center. Note: If attending the visitation and funeral services, the family requests no cologne or perfumes, because of family allergies.
