Eldon L. 'Junior' Redding, Jr.

October 27, 1929 — June 30, 2017

Eldon L. “Junior” Redding, Jr., 87 of Indianapolis passed away on June 30, 2017. He was born October 27, 1929 in Huntington, IN to Eldon, Sr. and Dorothy Redding. After graduating from Huntington North High School, he served in the US Army. He worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years. Junior enjoyed fly fishing, golfing, collecting coins, traveling, and loved his cats. He was a member of the Decatur Lions Club.

Junior is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Carolyn Land and Jean Wintrode. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Janice, his children, Steve (Becky) Redding, Rick (Susie) Redding, Beverly (Charlie) Coombs and Bryan (Jennifer) Redding, sister, Patricia (DeWayne) Lusch, brothers, Tom Redding, Ronald Redding and Steve Prilaman, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit with his family from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis.
