Edward Lee Rutledge

Edward Lee Rutledge, 87 of Indianapolis, Indiana., passed away on October 5., 2023 at Life's Journey of Avon Hospice. Edward was born June 10, 1936, in Crawfordsville, Indiana as the son of Harold and Thelma Kirk Rutledge.

Ed enjoyed square dancing where he met his late wife, Vivian. He also enjoyed fishing, traveling, volunteering at the library and the Senior Citizens Center.

He and his late wife attended Westview Christian Church.

Edward is survived by his stepchildren; Larry (Judy) Clayton, Donald (Cindy) Clayton, Sandy (Mark) Julian Clayton and Kevin Clayton. Close personal friend Carolyn J. Eckert and Caregiver Tammy Clark.  He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife Vivian and his parents.
