Edward (Ed) Lamar Peal was born on November 21, 1954 in Springfield, Ohio.
Ed attended the University of Texas, Arlington, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Ed continued his education at the University of Dayton, where he received his Master’s in Public Administration. Ed earned his JD degree at Indiana University, Bloomington. Ed worked for the Department of Housing and Urban Development for over 30 years. Ed was passionate about education and saving money. Ed enjoyed spending time fishing, gardening, playing with his dogs, wearing overalls, watching Westerns, and spending time with his children and grandsons.
Ed is survived by his wife Sharon M. Baker Peal, his son Clinton E. Peal II., daughters Alicia M. Peal Ayers (Loren Sr.), Rachel M.I. Peal, and grandsons L. Alexander Ayers II, and Aiden E.R. Ayers. He is also survived by brothers Charles E. Peal (Dione), Darryl A. Peal, sister Judith L. Peal, and sister-in-law Regina Randall. Ed is also survived by his mother-in-law Doris I. Baker, brother-in-laws L. James Baker (Gerry), Lawrence G. Baker, Robert C. Baker, James P. Sikorski, and sister-in-law Kathleen Baker. He is also survived by his Aunts: Iro Mae Johnson and Peggy Searcy, Uncle David Sanford, his honorary sister Jennifer Johnson, and a whole host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Clinton E. Peal Sr. and Joanne M. Sanford Peal, niece Ashley R. Peal, father-in-law Boyd R. Baker and sister-in-laws Lynn D. Baker and Heather G. Sikorski.
