Edward L. Smith

Edward L. Smith, 77, of Indianapolis passed away April 7, 2011. He was born November 13, 1933 to Ben and Emma Smith. Edward was a Milkman for Maplehurst Dairy for several years and later retried from IPS where he was a custodian at Washington High School. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include his 4 sons: Edward (Linda) Smith, Jr., Stephen (Tina) Smith, Mark Smith and Bruce (Patty) Smith, a sister Laura Poe, 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be Tuesday April 12 at 1 PM in Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Floral Park. Visitation is Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 11 AM until time of service at the funeral center. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
