Edward Joseph Loftus

Edward J. Loftus, 78, died February 8, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, March 3, 1943, to George Edward and Dorothy Elizabeth (Chapek) Loftus. He was married to Concisa A. Loftus for 57 years before she passed away October 15, 2021.

Edward retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service and began his career with United Airlines, retiring in 2003. He is survived by his sister Amy (Anthony) Aiello who has 2 daughters, 1 passed away, and 3 grandchildren; brother George Loftus who has a son and daughter; brother Kevin (Karen) Loftus who has 3 sons; his daughters Mayona Loftus (Alfonso) Renna and Dorothy Loftus (Buddy) Childers, and son-in-law Robert Provencher; grandchildren Peter, Edward, Melissa, Sabrina, Ethan, Waylon, and Beau James; 10 great-grandchildren; and nephew Sean and niece Bridgett. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, brother Daniel Loftus, and his sister Nora Tomas.
