Edward “Ed” A. Gross, 73, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on August 29, 2026. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to the parents of the late Edward J. and Rose (Pavia) Gross. Ed married the love of his life Janice (Klissaroff) Gross, enjoying a wonderful 51 years together before his passing.
A graduate of West Technical High School in Cleveland OH and General Motors Institute in Flint, MI Ed spent the majority of his career working in the automotive industry. He completed his working years with Roche Diagnostics in Indianapolis.
Ed was a fan of sports, always supporting and “couch coaching” the Cleveland Browns, Indians (Guardians), Cavaliers and of course The Ohio State Buckeyes!! He enjoyed playing (and then watching) softball and golf. He spent many hours in the bleachers cheering at volleyball, softball and gymnastic events and on the golf course as a golf practice buddy. Listening to music was a pastime he enjoyed either on the radio or LIVE – everything from The Carpenters to Lynyrd Skynyrd with Chicago being a favorite.
Ed’s biggest pleasure as “Pops” was watching his daughters become wonderful mothers to all of his grandchildren. His best buddies were his fur babies Dudley and Charlie. D.D.A.S. We love you “more mostest”.
