Edward Eugene Cobb
89 years old, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on September 27, 2014. He was retired from Szabo Food Service and served as Chef and Executive Chef for Pitman Moore , American States and Eli Lilly. Edward served his country proudly in the United Stated Navy.
Edward was born on April 9, 1925 to Rufus S. and Dovie Jordon Cobb. He is Survived by his loving wife Mildred Cobb; daughters and sons, Phyllis Perkins (Joseph), Deborah Collier (Daniel), Steven Cobb (Susan), Hal Mark Cobb, John Cobb (Angelique); Sister Louise Norwood. He was preceded in death by his father, Rufus Cobb; mother, Dovie Jordan, 14 siblings, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
Edward has 8 grandchildren,12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren on the way.
Family and Friends may call from 4pm-8pm Wednesday, October 1, 2014 with funeral service Thursday, Oct 2, 2014 at 10am Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
