Edward A. Anderson

March 24, 1925 — October 13, 2012

Edward A. Anderson 87, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012. Ed was born in Schenectady, New York to his parents Edward H. and Josephine. He was a veteran pilot of WWII in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Ed graduated from Gannon University and retired from Inland Container Corp. He lived a very active life and loved his family, golf, fishing and volunteering. Ed was known for his smiles, hugs and positive outlook. He is predeceased by his parents, his first wife Sara and his brother Richard. He is survived by his loving family, wife Edi-Lou, children Kitty McIntire (Ben), Karen Zecher (Jack), Corbin (Genie), stepsons Tim Koehler (Joanie), Doug Koehler (Sue), twelve grandchildren, sister-in-law and many nieces, nephews and close friends. A memorial service will take place at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church 1402 W. Main Street, Carmel, IN 46032 on Thursday, October 18 at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials can be sent to St. Christopher's Church or Sertoma Club of Broad Ripple, P.O. Box 40053, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
