Edreld Francis Massel

Edreld Massel 87, Indianapolis, passed away August 7, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Edreld was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on September 6, 1925 to parents, Roy Joseph and Bessie Louisa (Hornblower) Finnigan. Edreld was baptized into Christ on March 4, 1990 at Traders Point Christian Church. Edie, as she was commonly known by her co-workers, retired from RCA in 1986. She was an artist and seamstress and loved traveling especially to Michigan. To her family, Edreld was the best mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be lovingly missed by her daughters, Linda (Dick) McGill of Greenfield, IN and Diane (Lyle) Jones of Austin, TX; sister, Earla (Freeman) Querengesser of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; granddaughter, Laura Jones of Austin, TX; grandsons: Richard E. McGill of Indianapolis, Mark R. McGill of Pendleton, IN, and Andrew (Whitney) Jones of Austin, TX; five great-granddaughters; as well as her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Massel, whom she married on September 23, 1944. Services will be private.
