Edna Johnk

Edna L. Taralson Johnk, 91, of Indianapolis, formerly of Ft. Wayne and Hammond, died June 13, 2011 at Hooverwood Health Care in Indianapolis. Edna was born April 7, 1920 in Ada, Minnesota to Matthew and Caroline Hanson Taralson. Surviving Mrs. Johnk are her children, Carol Shearer, Shirley Revercomb, Rose Black, and Steve Johnk; her brother, Clifford Taralson; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nearly 56 years, Elmer B. Johnk; and 3 brothers. Visitation will be from 1 pm to 2 pm, Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, 105 W. Pine St., Zionsville, IN with a service beginning at 2pm.
