Edna 'Edith' Bixler

Edna "Edith" Bixler, DOB 12/30/32, passed away peacefully shortly after dawn on August 1st. Edith was an employee at RCA for more than 25 years, a great wife to Harold Bixler who preceded her, fantastic mother to Bill Bixler and an incredible buddy, companion and grandmother to Nicole Bixler and Stephanie Sutterfield. She was Harold's sole in home care provider for 2 years after his stroke as well as a sole maintainer of her house for 12 years after Harold's passing. To not mention her dog Heidi, a Boxer of 13 years that preceded her would be remiss. She enjoyed water aerobics and the senior Stretch and Flex activity program with her female friends into her 80's. She also looked forward to her annual "Girl's night out" with her long time childhood friend. She is survived by a sister, Ruth Chapman from West Virginia, her son, granddaughters and daughter-in-law, Susie Bixler.In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to TheLittleRedDoor.Org
