Edna B. Culross

Edna Belen Miller Brown Culross, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully, on April 19, 2020.  She was born, one of six children, November 28, 1931 in Indianapolis, to the late Albert and Providencia Miller.   She attended Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis.  She was married to Robert G Brown for 31 years, before his passing in 1980.  Edna remarried John W. Culross.  They were married for 20 years, before his passing.

In the early years with her first husband Bob, they enjoyed camping and playing cards with friends.

Edna worked for RCA, before having children.  She was a wonderful stay at home mom, while raising her girls.  She worked for Flanner and Buchanan, in Speedway, for several years before retiring.  She was a member of Chaplewood Baptist Church for years, and a resident of Westside Garden Plaza nursing home from 2004 until her passing, where they took excellent care of her.

Edna was predeceased by: her husbands, Robert G. Brown and John W. Culross; brothers, Edward Miller and Albert Miller; sisters Marie Mosier and Ruth Ewing.  She is survived by:  her brother, David Miller; two daughters Debbie Baker (Bill) and Terri Hooser (Bobby); Grandchildren, Brandynn Dixon Turner (Brady), Christopher Baker (Stacy); Great grandchildren Hanna Webb (Mason), Will Dixon, Aynsley Dixon, Payton Baker and Seven Baker;  Step-son John Culross, Jr. and Step-grandson Jake Culross.

A funeral service will be held at a later date at Flanner and Buchanan funeral home at 2950 N. High School Road in Speedway, with burial at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown.
