Edith Nordblad

Edith L. Fitzwater Nordblad 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Thursday November 29, 2012. Edith was born December 15, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Rose Marie (Leahigh) and Edward Resener. She graduated from Howe High School and went on to work as an underwriter for Gregory & Appel Insurance Company, before retiring in 1995. Edith is preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond, daughters Monica Fitzwater and Raelene White, sister Pauline Schwartz, brothers Carl, Robert and Edward Resener. She is survived by her sisters Rose Marie Lanham, Patricia Baumer, and Judith Coe; her children, Tim Fitzwater, Rick (Beverly) Fitzwater, Kathy Curtis (Chuck Turner), Michael (Lisa) Fitzwater, Joanie Fitzwater (Sam Polki), and Rick (Peggy) Nordblad; as well as 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 2-5pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Broad Ripple, 1305 E Broad Ripple Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Broad Ripple Kiwanis Foundation.
