Edith "Becky" Louise Lynch, 84, a long-time Zionsville, IN resident, died December 22, 2011. She was born in Indianapolis on October 19, 1927, the only child of the late Horace and Wahnetta (Younghanz) Bicknell. Becky attended Arsenal Tech High School, and married Jesse "Jay" Lynch on June 23, 1947. He preceded her in death in July of 2008.
Becky was head switchboard operator at Dave Waite Pontiac and Dellen Olds, was a switchboard operator at Lockhart Cadillac, and worked at Mayflower for 12 years also at the switchboard. She was a receptionist at Indiana Bell. She was a former member of Mounts Run Baptist Church.
Becky will be greatly missed by her sons Glen Lynch (and wife Diane) and Ben Lynch (and wife Nancy) and her 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. You are invited to join them at a memorial service celebrating Becky's life on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., with calling from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Zionsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Living Waters Ministries, c/o Austin Holmes, 457 Benham Lane, Springville, IN 47462.
