81, of Avon, Indiana, passed away on May 14, 2020 in Danville, Indiana. Edith was born on April 12, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late John and Irene Matesick. She was retired from Allison Transmission. She is survived by her husband Norris New; children, Rick (Teia) New and Mike (Debbie) New; grandchildren, Cory, Amber, Jordan and Colton; great-grandson, Alex; brother, Berry Matesick and sister, Nona Harris. Services will be private.
