Edis E. Thomas

Edis E. Thomas 98, Indianapolis passed away October 19, 2013 at his home. He was born December 3, 1914 in Marble Corner, Ripley County, IN to the late Eliza and Jesse Thomas. In 1945 Edis began his 37 year career at Link Belt, retiring at the age of 68. Edis is survived by his daughter, Robena DeMoss; sons, Irvin (Roemary) Thomas and Dale (Judy) Thomas; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie (Palmer) Thomas; daughter, Evelyn M. Thomas; 5 brothers; 6 sisters and a son-in-law Chuck Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
