Edgar D. Rives
93, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on September 28, 2022. Edgar was born on June 9, 1929, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Elva and Florence Rives. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. He was a retired supervisor for AT&T. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Rives; daughter, Linda Tedrick and son-in-law Wayne Tedrick; daughter, Patsy Clark; daughter-in-law, Pam Rives and his parents. He is survived by his sons, Michael Rives and Christopher (Joyce) Rives; son-in-law, Steve Clark; nine grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; twenty great great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm with funeral services at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Entombment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
