Earl Lester Nahre
81, Indianapolis, passed away January 26, 2012. Earl was born on March 28, 1930 in Indianapolis to the late, Alexander and Pearl (Collins) Nahre. He was employed by Farm Bureau for 42 years, retiring in 1993. Earl owned and operated a printing shop in his home for several years. He was a 50 year member of the Englewood Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Donna Kay Nahre; children, Mike (wife, Darlene) Nahre, James (wife, Vici) Nahre, Denise Nahre-Shalkowski, Angela Nahre and Steven Howe; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by his parents and his sons, Mike and James' mother, Sybal and daughters, Denise and Angela's mother, Jean. Services for Earl will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 30. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
