Dyjuan (Dy) Lashon Lewis was born June 27, 1991 and was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 20, 2014. He was his mother's only child, her baby boy.
Dyjuan accepted Christ and was baptized in October 2013 at New Life Worship Center.
Dyjuan played Wide Receiver for the University of Cincinnati for 3 years before joining the Marian Knights in 2013. Dyjuan completed his high school education at Pike High School and was 2 semesters away from completing his Bachelor's degree. Dyjuan had a passion for football, basketball, boxing and spending time with his Sons. Dyjuan also loved listening to music and watching movies.
Dyjuan had a very unique personality. He was quiet but loving, friendly, and a hilarious young man who loved teasing his little cousins. He truly touched the lives of his family, teammates and friends.
Dyjuan was preceded in death by his father, Dyjuan Lashon Allen; grandfather, Willie Whitlow.
Dyjuan is survived by his loving Parents, Gwennetta Lewis and Clifton Jett; Sons, Emoni K. Lewis and Kayson J. Lewis; Step Brother, Clifton Jett Jr.; Uncles, Corey Lewis (Keisha), Vernard Hollins, Donald Hollins (Zena), Andre Miles, Jesse Allen (Crystal) and Derrick Causey; grandmothers, Pat Martin (Al), Susan Causey, Arlene Hairston, Emma Causey, and Cleo Heliere; Grandfather, Jesse Allen Sr. He will be sadly missed by a host of his loving family and close friends who were like brothers.
