Dwayne Lewis McCoy, 52, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 12th, 2026.

Dwayne graduated from Floyd Central High School in 1991 and made a career as a finance professional. He married his beloved wife Beth McCoy in 2002; together they raised two children, Abbey and Avery McCoy.

Dwayne was known for his laid-back and outgoing personality, and his immense love for his family and friends. He could make anyone feel welcome and could bring out the humor in any situation. He measured his life on the relationships he built and the love he shared with those closest to him.

Dwayne had a unique ability to bring out the best in people. He would offer his support in various ways, and was genuinely happy to see others succeeding in life.

He particularly enjoyed supporting both of his daughters in all facets of life and was thoroughly proud of the remarkable young women they are today.

He leaves a lasting impact on more people than could ever be counted, and his legacy will live on in them.

He was preceded in death by his father Bob McCoy.

He is survived by his beloved wife Beth McCoy; daughters Abbey and Avery McCoy; his mother, Darlene McCoy; his brother, Craig (Tina) McCoy; his sister, Heather (Brian) Perry; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 4 - 8 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (7243 East 10th Street Indianapolis, Indiana, 46219) at 10 am, with burial following at Calvary Cemetery.
