Dudley Wayne Martin passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014. He was born in in Atwood, Indiana, where he went to grade school and graduated from high school. He graduated from Indiana University with degrees in accounting and business. He taught some in Warsaw, Indiana.
He proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps, being stationed at Opa Locka, Florida and Puerto Rico, and finished his college education following his discharge from service.
Dudley lived in Indianapolis for 45 years. He worked for the Farm Bureau Co-op, later Countrymark Co-op as an accountant in the Grain Department, retiring in 1993. He liked playing golf, was in the 500 Club, enjoyed traveling (especially cruises), and was a good cook.
Dudley is survived by his wife of 37 years Wilberta "Bert" Martin; step-daughters Sherri Lee Albaum and Bonnie Sue Carroll; grandchildren Amanda and Craig Studt, Jeremy and Bethany Carroll, Kevin and Lauren Albaum, and Brian Albaum; and great-grandchildren Alexis Carroll and Carson Studt.
