Douglas M. Hendren, Sr.

77, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 26,2019.  Douglas was born on March 6, 1942 in Ripley, Tennessee to the late Alford and Thelma Hendren.  He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a retired Christian Minister.  He was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings.  He is survived by his wife, Donna M. Hendren; children, Lisa (Tony) Baggett, Teresa Edman, Sonya (Troy) Thompson, Christine (Bob) Lower, Douglas Hendren, Jr., Jacob (Amy) Hendren; brother, Bob (Donna) Hendren and sister, Shelvy Lusk; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 11 am to 1 pm with services at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
