Douglas 'Doug' Lynn Carns

Douglas "Doug" Lynn Carns Was born July 23, 1951 in Fargo, North Dakota to Lester P. and Fern E. Carns. He spent 38 years as a Vice President in the food industry. After semi-retirement, he loved his work as a sales associate at Lowe's. A great man of faith, Doug was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where he was involved with Kairos Prison Ministries. He enjoyed boating, golfing, traveling, snow skiing, water skiing, trips to Las Vegas, a good laugh and a good party. He will be remembered as a man who approached life without fear and dedicated his time giving to others. Doug is survived by his wife of 33 years Lynn Carns; his daughter whom he cherished Madisen Lynn Carns; brother Roger (Elaine) Carns; Mother-in-law Dee Chimento; sisters-in-law Karla Brock and Kim (Anthony) Chimento; and nieces and nephews Nick, Kelli, Kristen, Chip, Lindsey, and Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Bill Brock.
