Indianapolis

Doug H. Paff, a beloved father, husband, and friend, passed away on January 19, 2026, in Indianapolis, where he was born on May 31, 1962. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Doug dedicated many years of his life as a sales associate for Walmart, where his charismatic personality and relentless dedication to customer service made a lasting impression. Yet, it was in his personal life where Doug truly shined and made his most meaningful contributions. He experienced a second chance at love when he met Tina, with whom he shared an unwavering bond for over 20 years. This deep connection was a testament to the love they fostered, both as partners and as parents, creating a nurturing environment for their children Austin, Samantha, Kamil, Ares, and Etta Faye.

Beyond his role as a husband and father, Doug embodied the spirit of selflessness. Described as the best husband, father, and Pop Pop, he was known to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. A vibrant character, Doug's humor and quick wit brought joy to those around him. He was a loving man who never met a stranger, and his ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on his community.

A passionate fan of Batman and a devoted supporter of the Colts, Doug loved to create mini shrines for game day in hopes of bringing his favorite team’s good fortune. Out of all the race fans, he was one of the biggest, he cheered on Indy racing and Nascar. His enthusiasm extended beyond sports; he was also an admirer of Star Wars. Despite his reluctance at times, he thoroughly enjoyed volunteering alongside his beautiful wife Tina, as they worked together to make a positive impact in their community.

Doug's proudest accomplishment was his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. He cherished each moment spent with them, creating memories that he will endure beyond his years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Paff; his children Austin Paff, Samantha (Chris) Ratliff, Kamil (Mary) Al Bayaa, Ares (Lexi) Paff and Etta Faye; his grandchildren Kynliegh, Mason, and Ava. His siblings Don Jr., Derek, Sean Jones, Dane, Stacey Jones. Along with many nieces and nephews that were a big part of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Carol Ann Paff and his mother in law Nancy Elliott, leaving behind cherished memories of their support and love.

Doug H. Paff left this world too soon, but the warmth of his spirit and the love he shared will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew him.
