Dorothy Norris

Dorothy L. Norris, 87 of Carmel, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014. Dorothy was born February 6, 1927 in Loogootee, IN to the late James F. and Anastasia Hopkins O'Neal. Dorothy was a graduate of Indiana University and worked as a teacher for 10 years. After raising her family, she joined her husband working in real estate. Dorothy was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to gather from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 3 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, October 4 in the chapel at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Dooley Norris. She is survived by her children, Larry Norris, Charlotte (husband, Richard) Coe and Michael Norris; grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Ryan Coe; sisters, Anne O'Neal, Alma Walker and Margie Reising; brother, Joe O'Neal.
