Dorothy M. Prichard

Dorothy Mae (Davis) Prichard, 93, of Avon Indiana went joyfully to be present with the Lord on May 2, 2015. Dorothy was born May 2, 1922 in Indianapolis Indiana to Charles Albert and Leona (White) Davis. Dorothy was preceded in death by her two siblings Iona Davis Alexander and Robert Dean Davis. Born, raised and resided on the Westside of Indianapolis, Dorothy was married in 1939 to David Elvis Prichard. They had three children Sue (Fred) Hunt, Sharon (Ray) Brown and Roberta Dill-Cartos. Dorothy has 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The Lord blessed Dorothy, or Dot as she was called by her friends, with a long and fun filled life. She enjoyed gardening, long walks at Eagle Creek with her dogs and she loved to kick up her heels on the dance floor. She was a member of the Eastern Star and an avid reader. She will be missed, but her memories will continue to make her loved ones smile. Services will be 12 pm Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Visitation will be 10 am until service time Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
