Dorothy L. Macdonald

Dorothy L. MacDonald, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Millers Merry Manor in Castleton. Dorothy was born June 24, 1919 in Indianapolis the daughter of Erastus J. and Reba M. (Mulholland) Land. She was a member of the Riviera Club from 1945-2005 where she was an avid Bridge player. Dorothy was a longtime member of Epworth United Methodist Church and had been a member at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. She had worked as an Underwriter at Gregory and Apell Insurance. Dorothy is survived by her children; Nancy Anderson of Indianapolis and Linda Maher of Acapulco, Mexico; also surviving are grandchildren, Laura Hagan, Jim and Scott Ranger, Kelly Sloane, Mary Brodman, Theresa Hicks, Elizabeth Lopez, John Maher and Lisa. 35 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Service 10:00 AM Monday, June 3, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation 4-8 PM Sunday. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
