Dorothy Matilda Keller

Dorothy M. Keller June 24, 1925 - December 13, 2025 Dorothy Mathilda (Falkenroth) Keller, 100, of Zionsville, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep December 13, 2025. She was born on June 24, 1925 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Fred W. Falkenroth and Anna (Cohrs) Falkenroth. She and Jim Keller married June 27, 1948. She spent her latter years living at Hoosier Village, Indianapolis, where they were wonderful to her. Dorothy worked for Merchants Bank in Indianapolis downtown and later at the 38th Street Branch until retirement in 1987. She was a member of Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, all her life. Jim and Dorothy’s latter years were spent building their home in Zionsville, spending winters in Florida and traveling the United States. She also took up quilting for a church mission group. Spending time with family was always their primary focus. With Jim and Dorothy having lots of siblings, there were always aunts, uncles and cousins to share life with. Dorothy’s husband Jim, her five siblings along with her parents have passed and hopefully are together now in heaven celebrating in Jesus’ glory. She is survived by her three children Linda S. Voss, James R. Keller, Jr and Gary S. Keller, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville is handling arrangements.
